Sometimes life deals a hard blow, and that hit us when Ziggy was taken from us far too early. Every day in her life was a happy day to her, no matter what happened. The best way of summing her up was "Life was just a bowl of cherries" - that was her motto. A wonderful character, and a lovely briard.
Ziggy was a briard who was going to take a little time before she visited the show ring. She was a very confident lady, outgoing and very self assured. She had excellent bone, chest and angulation, and her fawn coat was of a beautiful rich colour. She just needed a little more time to become totally balanced. With Ria being exactly the same age and doing so well in the show ring, Ziggy had to wait her turn.
On the only 2 occasions she attended a show, she won both times.
Her sister, Ellie (B. Bessiere HIC) lives in Australia at the well known Cacharel affix. She excelled in the show ring, quickly gaining her CH title, and is now concentrating on family duties as well as some sheep herding activity.
