Thanks to the Committee for their invitation to judge this lovely show. The weather was kind to us, though windy, and I had some lovely briards to go over from near and far. I was most appreciative of the overall quality entered under me. Best Bitch and BIS was a lovely fawn girl from the Czech Republic, No Chance to Lose Moravia Campanella. Best Opposite Sex was Pepino Boss Gasaron a Junior fawn dog also from the Czech Republic. Fawn dog CAC was from Champion Class, Uptown Boy Jesienna Rhapsodia (Polish x French breeding); Black Dog CAC O'Remington Steele Nadina-Sis (Czech Republic); Black bitch CAC Venus Dalido (Working class) also from the Czech Republic. I really had no idea that all my top winning dogs came from more or less the same part of the world! I do not usually like to give top awards to youngsters, as I like to see the finished article. But this young male Pepino just took my heart. He was well boned and developed for his age with a good tail, good harsh coat coming through and super effortless movement. He also reminded me so much of 2 of my own males. I just couldn't resist him. A big thank you to all exhibitors who entered under me and who took my decisions in such good spirit.
